Smartphones help us live the Sci-fi dream. They keep us connected, they keep us busy, and most of all, they also keep us entertained. Imagine stepping out of your home without your phone for a few hours, it may be hard to. What if you miss a party invite? Or lose a new business opportunity? What if your unrequited crush called because they finally realized they’re hopelessly in love with you? Let’s be honest, we aren’t always that lucky but we do hope you see our point: Phones are a part of us and they need to be well-equipped for that role through customization.
Launchers:
Launchers govern how you can navigate your phone and apps. Different launchers can give you different styles with a differently optimized interface. Android users have a ridiculous amount of freedom when it comes to choosing their launchers, allowing them to change the aesthetics of things like icon packs, new widgets, screen layout and app organization based on their preferences. While new launchers can look and feel great, we do advise users to ensure they can use their new launchers effectively.
Customized Mobile Phone Skins:
Changing your theme, background, and other aspects of your phone may be customization. But you can’t really call a phone customized unless you get a customized skin so it looks the part. Getting your customized mobile phone skin is essentially completing the final step to turning a new Smartphone into your new Smartphone.
Themes
Let’s talk themes, or more specifically let’s talk default themes. Most phones have them, and let’s not kid ourselves: these themes look really cool. But the problem with these default themes is exactly that, they’re default so everyone has them. If you want something that screams “you” then you’ll need to look for new themes online. If you don’t want to spend too long finding the right theme for you, look for an app on the play store that can help you decide, it really is that simple. Once you find the theme that suits you the best, you’ll know.
Live Wallpapers:
Still wallpapers are a time of the past, back from when processing video on a computing device was considered a miracle. Today, normal wallpapers haven’t changed much fundamentally even though they still look great. But life isn’t still, it keeps moving, still wallpaper couldn’t possibly convey what it truly means to be you! Live Wallpapers are dynamic, they’re radiant and they’re also… whatever you need them to be. To get one, just start a Google search and you’ll be able to access various paid and free live wallpapers with ease.
Keyboard:
Smartphones now come with their own keyboards, which aren’t always the best choice for everyone. Some of us prefer something simpler. Some of us would prefer not to have to tap 3 letters, 2 symbols, 10 numbers just to say “Hi”. Obvious exaggeration aside, an online search or the playstore can both help you if you need a new keyboard for your Smartphone.
For all those apple users out there: we know themes and keyboards are much easier to set up on android. But getting a customized skin for your apple phone still takes customization to a whole new level.
